Hi, I'm Olivia - a wedding, couple and proposal photographer based in Hampshire, and honestly, I think I have one of the best jobs in the world.

I started exploring to photography in school but then the call to adulting happened and I got a sensible job, bought a house, and settled down. And then when I got married myself, I knew that my wedding photos were one of the most important things to me. I remember caring so much about the photographs - not in a stressed way, but in a quiet, this-actually-really-matters way. Because when the day is over and the flowers have wilted and the cake is gone (mine ended up upside down in a bucket somehow?), the photographs are what's left. They're the thing you come back to. And I wanted ours to feel real and take me right back to those exact moments on the best day of our lives. And that is exactly what I try to give every couple I work with.

A little about me

I love being outdoors and I love an adventure - the kind of shoots that take you somewhere unexpected, whether that's a clifftop in Cornwall, a cobbled street in Europe, or a grand city venue with incredible buildings. I'm drawn to interesting architecture in a way that probably says a lot about me - give me a vaulted ceiling, a sweeping staircase, or a crumbling courtyard and I am completely in my element.

I love good company and a good party. I love watching people let loose on a dance floor, I love the chaos of a big family getting ready together, and I love the quieter moments, those filled with nervous anticipation, which others might not notice but the camera always catches.

Mostly though, I love love. I know that sounds really obvious, but I really mean it. My experience of wedding planning and getting married myself was just incredible and that feeling has never really left me and now I get to celebrate other people as they go on this wonderful chapter of their lives. Getting to witness the moments I do through this job - the first looks, the happy tears, the way someone's face changes the second they see their person - I don't take any of it for granted.

I'm a mum, and if parenthood teaches you anything it's just how quickly the really good moments pass. That stays with me every single time I pick up my camera and it is exactly why I think photographs are one of the most important things in our lives - they tell our story.

And how would I describe myself? Outside of work I'm pretty introverted, which I think actually makes me better at this job. I'm not the loudest person in the room, but I'm observant, I'm calm, and I'm always watching for the moment before anyone else notices it's happening.
